After a rough start this morning we were renewed by songs of praise at church - thank you Antioch!

With our perspectives back in line with truth we came home from church.
Don set up the fire pit under the metal awning. Listening to the rain drops hit the tin, we drank coffee, talked about the sermon and
... you think I'm going to say something sweet and delightful but I'm not ... out from the fire pit came earwigs!!! EWW!! So gross.

We tried to do battle but they kept coming. Don the ever optimist was sure they were gone but the last straw was when I had one crawling on my foot. That was it! I was done. To bad too, it had started out so promising.

It was pretty easy to feel safe back inside my bug free home. 

On this rainy evening, I was very happy with my little family sitting together for dinner. Afterward, we watched Indian Jones outwit the bad guys, yet again.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord ..
